If you have any problems with a product or an order, please contact us before returning it. We will then do our best to help you.

We are very accommodating when it comes to returns and always do our best to find a solution for every problem, no matter how small.

However, we must also give this goodwill a legal framework.

We grant a 5-year manufacturer's warranty for Hepco&Becker brand products.

Guarantee conditions:

In addition to the statutory warranty rights to which you are entitled, we grant you a 5-year guarantee on the goods advertised with the guarantee promise.
The warranty period begins on the invoice date.
The guarantee covers the Federal Republic of Germany.
The guarantee is only granted to consumers* who are also the first customer*. (See below for an definition of the terms)

If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, we will provide one of the following services at our discretion within the scope of the guarantee:

repair of the goods free of charge or
free replacement of the goods with an equivalent item (including a successor model if the original goods are no longer available)
or reimbursement of the purchase price

Warranty exclusions:

Warranty claims are excluded in the event of damage to the goods caused by

misuse or improper handling / installation
Environmental influences (moisture, heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.)
Non-observance of any safety precautions
Non-observance of the operating instructions
Use of force (e.g. impact, shock, fall)
unauthorised repair attempts / modification
Combination with non-original components / third-party products
Commercial use / racing or rally use
normal wear and tear

Utilisation:

In order to make a claim under the warranty, you must first enable us to check the warranty claim by sending in the goods. Please ensure that damage during transport is avoided by using appropriate packaging.
To apply for warranty service, you must provide us with proof of purchase on request (e.g. by enclosing a copy of the original invoice for the goods sent in). We ask for your understanding that we may refuse to honour the warranty if you do not provide proof of purchase, as the proof is used to calculate the warranty period. Furthermore, you must provide the name and address of the seller if this data is not available from the proof of purchase sent to us or if the data is no longer up to date.

Payment of costs:

The warranty processing is free of charge for you if the goods are returned from Germany and with a return slip or label provided by us. Any shipping costs incurred by you will be reimbursed by the guarantor at most in the amount of the cost price of the aforementioned process.
If it is necessary to dismantle the goods in order to return them, the guarantor will not bear the costs of dismantling.
This warranty does not cover any other personal losses or expenses, such as kilometres travelled, transport costs, hotel accommodation, meals, collection or delivery of motorbikes, replacement rental vehicles, loss of use of the vehicle, loss of profits or loss of holidays or leisure time.

Legal notice:

Your statutory rights in the event of defects (if applicable also against third parties) are not restricted by this guarantee promise and can be claimed by you free of charge. Any existing statutory warranty rights against us therefore remain unaffected by this guarantee promise.
If any of the above provisions are overridden by federal, state or local law, all other warranty terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

* Definition:

"Consumer" for the purposes of this manufacturer's warranty is any natural person who is the owner of the product and has not purchased it in order to resell it or to install it for a third party as part of their commercial or independent professional activity.
"First customer" is the consumer who first purchased the product from Hepco&Becker, a dealer or another natural or legal person who resells or installs the product as part of their commercial or independent professional activity.
