About us - History
A brief history of our company
More than 25 years ago, a nuisance lead to the foundation of our company: the intensive and fast wastage of the unprotected driving chain urged us to develop a closed chain box. The bikers appreciated this well thought-out accessory and this idea lead to an impressive economic successs.
In the beginning of the 1980s, Hepco & Becker additionally started to develop and produce carrier systems for motorcycles. Goods geared to the market requirements and produced with the highest technical know-how with the best ressources available have been the basis of our successs story. Furthermore, these high quality goods have been perpetually perfected.
After having been based in Pirmasens, the company moved into new premises in Höhfröschen, a little village near the former location. The rise from a small workshop to an industrial company proceeded quickly. New products have been developed and have been successfully established. Besides the motorcycle section, the development of the "Technische Industrie- und Werkzeugkoffer" (case for technical industry and tools) lead to the creation of new jobs and to the enlargement of production and sales capacities.
Today, Hepco and Becker is the leading German manufacturer of carrier
systems for motorcycles and accessories. The success in many competitions
initiated by professional journals,the right mixture of products, a well
developed distribution system, reliable as well as fast deliveries and
an excellent service made Hepco & Becker the producer and supplier
of accessories as initial equipment of many world-famous motorcycle labels.
